BMW F 900 XR (2026) — from $11,190
F 900 XR is the approachable XR — middleweight power, upright comfort, less intimidation than S 1000 XR.
Strong value sport-tour/adventure-street crossover for Valley riders.
Not the fastest BMW; often the one you’ll actually ride Tuesday after work.
From a Phoenix garage point of view, that matters: summer heat, monsoon oil slicks, and freeway miles on the 10/17 stack reward honest ergonomics and modern rider aids more than brochure poetry.
Who it’s for: middleweight upright sport-tour buyers
Who should look elsewhere: horsepower junkies wanting S 1000 XR
Bottom line: sensible BMW XR you can live with daily
F 900 XR over a Tracer or NT1100?
